Fishing Details for the Year:
Like to fish? Then the Long Beach Peninsula is the place for you.
May and September has Rock Fish, sea bass, Pollack, pacific cod, Ling Cod which can grow to over 60 pounds
May and October has Tuna fishing
Between July and October salmon of all kinds (King , Coho, Chum, Sockeye and
Pink salmon ) can be fished for in and around the Long Beach area.
The Pacific Halibut season runs from May through September. This monster fish
can reach 500lbs.
July - Dec Sturgeon are our local freshwater giants and are fished in the area rivers.
